movie : the last song

i was so excited when i saw the trailer of this movie .. i mean , it's MILEY CYRUS (i love her !) and a super hot hunk ^^ so , i decided to catch the movie on friday (today) . after asking a few people , finally a girlfriend agreed to accompany me since she's been wanting to watch the movie . to all those MILEY CYRUS haters , even though you really hate her , you should really consider watching this movie . it's good ; really good ! *thumbs up ! it made me very emotional in the cinema :'( because it reminded me of something that happened to me .

Overall , it's worth the 6 bucks , really .

Reserved passenger seats in the MRT

I know this isn't a current affair that i'm blogging about , but anyway , i just want to voice out/type out what i observe in the MRT . Everyone knows about the reserved seats in the MRT , right ? Well , it's reserved for pregnant women , elderly , and the handicap . Honestly , do you really see all those reserved seats are filled up by them ? Maybe just some , not all of it . Most of the time we see capable human beings sitting at those RESERVED seats , reading newspaper , or even sleeping OR pretending to sleep (we won't know) . Is it fair to the handicapped or the elderly ?

This is something we get to see almost everyday in the MRT . My cousin who was actually pregnant had to stand up from Orchard , and she actually stays at Admiralty . Someone only gave up his seat when it was already at Sembawang . Apparently , he just realised that there was a pregnant lady who needs a seat .
I'm not trying to tell everyone what's right or wrong , just be a little more attentive to our surroundings especially when in the MRT . If possible , we should try to avoid sitting at those reserved seats .

To be frank , i don't really care about the existence of those seats . When i'm going home after shopping with my mother , she will always try to get me to "surrender" my seat to the needy instead of her giving up her seat . How fair is that ? Hahah .

First week of school (:

Of course , like every other first day , most of us will be excited for school . NEW environment , new friends , new teachers , new set of homeworks (-_-)
SO , on the first day , I was kind of hyped up for school . Everything went well . I hoped the second day would be the same .. but then something happened .
My mother woke me up at around 4.20 in the morning . I was like , "WTH ??" . Then , she told me the MOST shocking news . My cousin passed away :'( . NO one expected him to leave at such an early age despite his sickness . I thought I'd be able to go to school and just go to lectures and all , but I couldn't . Along the way to school , i cried , thinking of my cousin . Then I thought that it's not possible for me to go to school in this condition so I decided to head home and then go straight to my cousin's funeral (although I knew very well that it's only the second day of school) . 20th April was the worst day in 2010 .
I came back to school on the following day , and everything started to be on track slowly . Well , everything takes time , right ? To be honest , sometimes his face just appeared during class ..

To wrap up everything , first week of school was actually quite good , although it was kind of tiring because I haven't get use to schedule .
